Bookkeeping in 2021

2020 for me felt like five years instead of one. I had a lot of changes personally and professionally. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and left an industry I had worked in for thirty three years. I opened my Bookkeeping business and found my first four clients almost immediately. As the year closes I look forward to an incredible 2021. I will be partnering with the TurboTax folks and offering some Tax advisement and preparation services. I plan to grow my bookkeeping services with a goal of 10 sets of books to prepare monthly and 20 total clients. If you need some help with your Quick books Online, taxes or some accounting advice and counseling give me a call or submit the contact form. I would love to have a great conversation about how I may be able to help you.

Great Advisor on Money Issues

When I lived in Florida then Georgia I used to listen to Clark Howard on AM radio daily. I have a genuine connection with him as he is a bit nerdy and super frugal. I don’t agree with everything he espouses as I am not a fan of debt and credit. However, he has some great takes on money management and how to make the best of your finances. If you are cheap like me check him out. #cheap #money #FiscalResponsibility

2020 what a year

2020 what a year. I graduated college at 48 years old. Started my business and left an industry I had been in for 33 years. We made many new friends and some of our friends became family. When the year started I had no idea it would send me down this path. As I jumped in with both feet to this new adventure I felt at times like a pinball. I was getting bounced all over by life and business, always another form to fill out or calls to answer. Opening the new year with promise and opportunity laid out before me I am so happy I stepped out and changed my life. Cheers to 2020, boy I am glad that you are over and glad I was strong enough to make it through!

Toys for Tots

We can all make a difference, take a minute and give what you can today. Such a great charity. No child should have Christmas without something under the tree. If money is tight contact your local Toys for Tots and volunteer to help sort or distribute toys. These wonderful people deserve our support and help. Thank you Marine Corps Reserve, and the thousands of volunteers that make this possible.

More Debt?

Extending the PPP in our current crisis, or another relief package? I agree that a lot of people are hurting right now, but what is the solution. With our country already massively in debt can we afford even more debt, can we dig ourselves out of this hole. The debt has grown year over year seemingly with no end. This cannot continue. I say open the country and get our incredible economy back in gear. Balance the budget and put a plan in place to pay off our debt in 20 years. We have to manage the finances of our businesses or we don’t get to have one, why do we not hold the politicians to the same standard.
