Should you get along with your competition, do they need to be “the enemy”? I say no, they can be your greatest ally. When you need another pair of hands wouldn’t a trained peer be a great resource. I find it great to have some friends that keep books too, we see things the same way and understand each other. Connect with some of your peers, you never know who they know.

2020 for me felt like five years instead of one. I had a lot of changes personally and professionally. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and left an industry I had worked in for thirty three years. I opened my Bookkeeping business and found my first four clients almost immediately. As the year closes I look forward to an incredible 2021. I will be partnering with the TurboTax folks and offering some Tax advisement and preparation services. When I lived in Florida then Georgia I used to listen to Clark Howard on AM radio daily. I have a genuine connection with him as he is a bit nerdy and super frugal.
